Terms of Service

SmartUp is a networking platform for people aged 16 and older, operated by SmartUp Technologies Inc., Berlin, Germany. These terms govern your use of the platform. By creating an account you accept them.

• You must be at least 16 years old.
• You must provide accurate registration information and verify your email address and phone number.
• You are responsible for everything that happens under your account. Keep your credentials private.
• One person, one account. Company accounts are created through the Enterprise process.

You agree not to:

• Harass, threaten, or harm other members, or post hateful, sexual, or violent content.
• Post spam, scams, misleading job offers, or content you have no right to share.
• Scrape the platform, create fake accounts, or attempt to bypass security and moderation.
• Use the platform for anything illegal under applicable law.

We moderate content with automated systems and human review. We may remove content and suspend or terminate accounts that break these rules.

You keep ownership of the content you post. You grant us the license needed to store, display, and distribute it within the platform (for example, showing your posts to other members). You can delete your content at any time.

Premium is a monthly subscription; Enterprise pricing is agreed individually. Paid features are described on the pricing page. You can cancel a monthly subscription at any time; it stays active until the end of the paid period. Statutory withdrawal rights remain unaffected.

The AI consultant, CV tools, and portfolio feedback provide suggestions, not professional advice. They can be wrong. Decisions about your career, health, legal, or financial matters remain your own responsibility.

We are liable without limitation for intent and gross negligence and for injury to life, body, or health. For slight negligence we are liable only for breach of essential contractual obligations, limited to foreseeable damage. We are not liable for content posted by members or third parties.

You can delete your account at any time. We may change these terms with reasonable notice; continued use after the change takes effect counts as acceptance. German law applies; the place of jurisdiction is Berlin, where legally permissible.
